Our service terms, work guidelines, safety expectations, and professional agreements.
Welcome to the Terms of Service of Abdul-Karim Electrical Engineering. These terms govern the relationship, quotes, and delivery of professional electrical engineering services between our certified team and our customers in Lakeside, Accra, and surrounding communities in Ghana. By engaging our services or requesting quotes via this platform, you agree to comply with and be bound by the terms outlined below.
Any estimation or quotation supplied by Abdul-Karim Electrical Engineering represents a preliminary proposal based on the dimensions, parameters, or descriptions provided by the client. Specifically:
To safely perform electrical installations, emergency repairs, fault diagnosis, or CCTV system set-ups, the client agrees to provide clear, unrestricted, and safe access to the work site. This entails:
Unless explicitly stipulated otherwise in writing, Abdul-Karim Electrical Engineering utilizes high-grade, certified materials and accessories that comply with the standards set by the Energy Commission of Ghana. If a client prefers to purchase their own electrical cables, fixtures, conduit pipes, switch sockets, or CCTV devices, the client assumes complete liability for the structural integrity, safety certifications, and functional compatibility of those client-provided materials.
Our billing agreements are structured per project or per contract basis:
We pride ourselves on professional excellence and provide a comprehensive 6-month workmanship warranty on all installations and wiring services performed by Abdul-Karim Electrical Engineering. This warranty covers issues originating directly from improper assembly, connection, or technical errors by our electricians. This warranty does not cover issues caused by external grid fluctuations, general wear and tear, lightning strikes, grid power surges, or unauthorized third-party modifications made to our installations.
While we execute all installations with the highest standards of safety, Abdul-Karim Electrical Engineering shall not be held liable for indirect, accidental, or consequential damages resulting from existing structural flaws, pre-existing faulty wiring not treated by our team, or fluctuations caused by the national electrical grid distributor.
These terms and all electrical project contracts are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Ghana, under the regulatory standards set by the Energy Commission and local construction codes.
We reserve the right to revise or update these Terms of Service periodically. Any changes will be posted directly to this web page with an updated "Last Updated" date at the top.
